| Types of Yoga |
| |
| Energising asana (postures), pranayama (breath control), meditation and relaxation.
There are so many very beautiful aspects to Yoga. Asana is very good for the body both
internally and externally. The most beautiful part of all is the stillness and peace that is felt. Many of us may come to practice Asana to begin with to gain some flexibility and have a good stretch. This is wonderful and the body greatly appreciates this but after a while we come to feel an even greater side to the practice. This is the opportunity to stop. To really just be and experience true peace. |
